STEP 1 -Cultivation
Viracan CBD buds are always EU approved and certified seed varieties. In addition, the plantations are always located in Europe and always take place after approval from the relevant authorities. Fully automated irrigation systems and computer-controlled lighting technology enable simulated sunrises and sunsets. Every effort to create a finished product of the highest possible quality. Each plant is marked with a barcode that is unique and forms part of the quality assurance of the production line.
STEP 2 - Drying
The curing (drying) is done in advanced drying rooms by slow curing with a steady temperature of low 12 degrees Celsius, optimal for Cannabis. First, the plants are hung to dry in specially built airtight rooms. After the plants are hung, the flowers are separated from stems, coarse twigs and unnecessary leaves are cut off before the flowers are sent on to the next phase. Here the flowers are laid out on perforated barrels for optimal air circulation in different sections until the flowers dry to an optimum humidity of 62%.
STEP 3 - Trimming
After the flowers have been cured to perfection, they are taken to a room where our specialists trim the flowers carefully where all flowers are manually quality assured for further transport. Everything is done in clean rooms with protective clothing, mouth guards, gloves and hair nets. What is trimmed away is reused to make oils and other CBD products.
